So you've made up your mind; you want a Diesel Foolz truck. Now what? Here is how we do what we do, with some pic's to aid your imagination. Better yet, how about you come down here and see how its actually done. We'd love to sit down with you, see your rig, and start making things happen.

After sitting down and talking design, custom parts, possibilities and price, we get your truck into the techshop to strip it down as far as we need. If you're going for a full restor or re-fit, we take it down to square one. All your parts are tagged, labelled and stored for future re-assembly. If we're just painting, we pull all the chrome off and get the cab and accessories ready for paint. Our head mechanic has worked with us for more than 25 years so you know your baby is in good hands.

Now that the parts are off, we can get to the innards. The cab may be stripped down to bare metal and painted. Planning is done to take into account the custom parts like a new chrome bumper or one-off headlights. Holes are filled and sanded, parts are sand-blasted and powder-coated in our massive powder-coating oven (we can fit the whole frame of your truck inside).

Next the mechanical team tackles the power plant. From mild to wild, we bolt on the necessary parts to give you the ponies you want. Diesel Foolz is a licensed dealer for Pittsburg Power and Vada Turbo 3000DJ Fleet Engineering, so you can rest assured the fuel will be directed to the right place to make the most impact.

Now we start sourcing out the accessories that will set you apart from the other rigs on the road. Our extensive selection of cab lighting, running lights, lit floor mats, and string lights ensure an infinite variety of combinations are available. Selections are from Street Glow, Trux, and other high-end companies only. If you want a custom-made shifter that scrapes the headliner, it's yours. Twisty mirrors? Done. It all adds up to one nice looking truck.

Once all the parts are sourced, the re-assembly begins. The frame has been repainted, the body panels, battery boxes, and hitch-plate cover have been fabricted, and the thing is starting to look like a truck again. At this point we can get our resident air-brush artist in to add a mural to the hood, back, doors, sleeper, or just about anywhere. Our talented artist is versatile and can make a mural with any theme. If you don't have any ideas, just ask because we've got tons that we can suggest. Other options are pin-striping or flame graphics.

Now the truck is back together, we can begin to fit it with the custom upholstering, floormats, chrome sun visors and all that. Again, we can source quality embroidered door panels for the interior, custom uphostery, embroidery, piping, and flooring options. Working trucks can have rubber or carpet, while show trucks might get chromed, backlit floor mats to give them extra style points. Things like tinted glass and mahogany steering wheel are also no-brainers.

Now your truck is back together and on the road, you can sit on your high horse and get your lead foot moving on the open road. In a Diesel Foolz Classy Chassis, you can be sure everyone else is going to obey the signs that say 'slower traffic keep right', but you won't have to.

Now that you've seen the process, let's have a look at the shop.
Our mechanical shop building alone is more than 12,000 sq./ft. This sits at the end of the yard (see below, white building) and is where your rig will get disassembled, cleaned, wrenched, and reassembled.
The yard gives us ample parking for a bunch of rigs. Bring your trailer too, 'cause we got room.
As you can see, the paint booth is big enough to fit your rig right inside. We don't even have to take the stacks off. There are plenty of lights along the side to make sure we have enough to give you a shiny, even finish with no runs or sags.
The powdercoating oven is one of the only ovens of this size in North America. We can powdercoat the frame of your big truck in one piece right in here.
Our Hydrapower hydraulic metal brake gives us unlimited power for building wheel-wells, hitch-liners, and all kinds of big truck accessories.
This hydraulic shear is set up to cut just about anything we need. Stainless steel, checkerplate, and everything in between. It will fit a full sheet of cold-rolled steel across its monster jaws.
